Merlin is a 12 yr. old Triton Sulfur Crested Cockatoo that demands lots of attention. He is very handsom and has an excellent vocabulary. Merlin is for the experienced large bird handler only. He would prefer being the only bird in your life as he does get jealous and does not play well with others. Cockatoos can be very loud and moody, Merlin is no exception. Understanding and knowledge of large parrot behavior is a must. Merlin needs lots of one on one time and lots of out of cage time. He also needs lots of play things as cockatoos are notorious chewers as well as clever escape artists and Merlin is no exception. (He even claims to be a magic bird sometimes.)
