JOB INFORMATION: TITLE: Carpenter FLSA CLASSIFICATION: Davis Bacon DEPARTMENT: General Labor EEO Code: 47-2031 REPORTS TO: Program / Project Manager DATE PREPARED: 11/21/2008 JOB PURPOSE: The Carpenter position is able to complete a wide range of construction projects within a commercial construction environment. JOB REQUIREMENTS: ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (Including but not limited to): -Complete tasks assigned by the project leadership. -Ensure work is completed by following direction of the Superintendent and in following the safety plan of the company. -Ability to perform construction projects of various forms with limited to no supervision. -All other tasks as assigned. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: -Working knowledge of commercial construction including but not limited to sheetrock, framing, painting, door hardware, etc. EXPERIENCE: -Painting experience. -Drywall experience. -Concrete experience. -Metal Stud framing. -4 years experience in a commercial construction environment. WORKING CONDITIONS: -This position is in constant physical mode and requires everyone to follow the safety plan of the company. -Moderate levels of stress may occur. DECISION MAKING: -This position has limited to no decision-making authority.
