JOB INFORMATION: TITLE: Electrician FLSA CLASSIFICATION: Davis Bacon DEPARTMENT: General Labor EEO Code: 47-2111 REPORTS TO: Program Manager DATE PREPARED: 1/21/2009 JOB PURPOSE: Inspects, repairs, installs, modifies, and maintains electrical/electronic systems, circuits and equipment. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor/manager. JOB REQUIREMENTS: ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (Including but not limited to): -Inspects, repairs, installs, modifies, and maintains electrical/electronic systems, circuits and equipment. -Work with managers to coordinate projects. -All other tasks as assigned. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: -HS Diploma or equivalent EXPERIENCE: -Colorado Licensed Journeyman REQUIRED. -4+ years government electrical experience REQUIRED. -2+ years commercial foreman experience REQUIRED. TECHNICAL SKILLS: -Certified Electrician – ICE Certification -Current Colorado Electrician’s License WORKING CONDITIONS: -This position requires sitting for long periods of time, extensive computer use; -General office environment; -Moderate levels of stress may occur.
